Stunning and collectable vintage Rosenthal Germany tea/coffee service from the "Romance" series by renowned designer Bjorn Wiinblad. Set includes 6 cups and saucers (duos) and a large matching circular plate. Very fine white porcelain with a delicate raised pattern of ovals and dots. The plate has the same pattern with a gold leaf chinoiserie theme. The cup and saucer is currently on display at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London. The Romance (Romanze) pattern was in production from the 60's and now retired. Makers mark to base. In fantastic condition - patina on gold consistent with age. Plate diameter 28cm, cup height just over 7cm and diameter to saucer 15cm.
