Stunning and collectable vintage Rosenthal Germany tea/coffee service from the "Romance" series by renowned designer Bjorn Wiinblad. Set includes 6 cups and saucers (duos) and a large matching circular plate. Very fine white porcelain with a delicate raised pattern of ovals and dots. The plate has the same pattern with a gold leaf chinoiserie theme. The cup and saucer is currently on display at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London. The Romance (Romanze) pattern was in production from the 60's and now retired. Makers mark to base. In fantastic condition. Plate diameter 28cm, cup height just over 7cm and diameter to saucer 15cm.
