Set of 6 Vintage IITTALA 'Gaissa' Small Glasses Designed by Tapio Wirkkala
Made in Finland and designed in 1973 by Tapio Wirkkala for IITTALA this is a gorgeous set of 6 small 14cl/5oz "Gaissa" glasses. Larger than the shot glass but smaller than the double old fashioned. The "Gaissa" series is a classic collection of 'mouth-blown pieces with rocky bottoms and thin walls, depicting the lucid qualities of ice and water formations'. Original stickers attached to two glasses. In fantastic condition. Height 6.5cm, diameter to rim 6.5cm. Photographed with matching decanter in final photo.
