Made in England, this is a gorgeous vintage (maybe antique) silver plate on copper serving tray. Ornate features to rim and handles, with a shell to the centre of each handle. The main surface of tray is chased with scroll and foliage decoration and it is raised on four bun feet. A good size and heavy to hold (2.5kg). Makers mark to base and numbered. In good condition commensurate with age and use. There is copper bleed to the raised areas of main surface, some scratching and tarnishing (all visible in photos). Length including handles 61cm. A great piece!
