Vintage ROYAL CROWN DERBY 'Cockerel' Paperweight (Silver Stopper)
Made in England by Royal Crown Derby this is a vintage hand-decorated fine bone china paperweight of a cockerel or rooster with the RCD silver stopper to base. Hand-painted with 22ct gold detail, Imari influenced and very collectible. Released in 1994, modelled by Robert Jefferson and designed by Jo Ledger. Classified by RCD as a paperweight this is also a wonderful figurine. Makers mark to base and date mark LXI (1998). In fantastic condition - very minor scuff marks to base. Height approx 10cm.
