Large HEREND Ginger Jar with Rose Finial #6091 - Printemps Blue Border Pattern
Made in Hungary by Herend this is a stunning porcelain ginger jar in the 'Printemps with Blue Border' pattern (printemps - French word for spring or springtime). Handmade with hand-painted gorgeous floral sprays and intricate scalloped blue scales. Beautifully accented with 24k gold and adorned with a raised apricot coloured rose finial to lid. Makers mark to base and #6091 BT-EB. In near perfect condition - scuff marks to base only. Height 16cm approximately.
