Stunning, quite rare and collectable handblown art glass pitcher made in Sweden by Kosta Boda and designed by Kjell Engman, one of Sweden's leading glass artists of the 20th and 21st century. Crafted by hand this is from the "Twister" series (Artist's Choice) circa 1999 - now retired. The outer layers are a swirling blue and textured sand-like pattern with inner layers of clear glass including clear glass rim and spout, handle and thick clear domed foot. Heavy to hold. Artist signature to base and #80725. In fantastic condition - no chips, no scratches, etc. Height to top of handle 32cm approx.
